Fundraising Opportunities

Boy Scouts membership and outings cost money. But never fear, there are many ways to raise money in order to participate. One of our first 2017 fundraisers is the camp cards. They are $5 each. For every camp card we sell we get to keep $2.50 to put into our scout accounts. This can help us save money for camps and other things. There are 3 tare offs that can be used once, but on the main card there are many that can be used unlimited times until they expire. This is not a joke. The expiration date is at the end of the year.

Other fundraising events are the annual Christmas Wreath sales, VW shows and Circle Yer Wagons event at the Sevier County Fairgrounds. Scouts can raise enough money at these events and sales to help pay for annual charter fees, scout outings, summer camp and even much of the cost of big things like Northern Tier Canoe Base, Sea Base in the Florida Keys or a trip to Philmont Scout ranch in New Mexico.
